Revik

Revik Empowering Business Solutions (“REVIK,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an NPA resolution and recovery agency based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, serving Banks, NBFCs, MFIs, FinTech lenders, and financial institutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information – both from visitors to our website, www.revik.in, and from data we process on behalf of our clients during recovery engagements.

This Policy is framed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and aligned with RBI’s Fair Practices Code, given the nature of our work with financial institutions.

We encourage you to read this Policy in full. If you do not agree with it, please do not use this website or share information with us.

1. Two Categories of Data We Handle

REVIK processes two distinct categories of personal data, and this Policy addresses both separately:

(a) Website Visitor Data – Information you provide when you contact us, submit an inquiry, or browse www.revik.in.

(b) Client-Provided Account Data – Borrower and portfolio information shared with REVIK by empanelled Banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions for the specific purpose of a recovery mandate.

We do not treat these two categories the same way, and neither should be confused with the other.

2. Website Visitor Data – What We Collect

When you use our Contact Us page or otherwise reach out to REVIK, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Company name and designation
  • Email address and phone number
  • The content of your message or inquiry
  • Purpose of inquiry (e.g., Empanelment, Portfolio Assessment, Documentation Request)

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our website, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring website – standard analytics data used to understand how our site is used and to improve it.

We do not require account creation, login, or third-party sign-in (such as Google or LinkedIn) to use our website. We collect only what is necessary for you to reach us and for us to respond to you.

3. How We Use Website Visitor Data

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and route it to the appropriate person at REVIK
  • Share empanelment documentation, compliance records, or service information you request
  • Maintain records of business correspondence
  • Improve our website and understand visitor interest in our services

We do not use website visitor data for unsolicited marketing. We will only send you further communication if you have specifically requested it or if it is a direct response to your inquiry.

4. Client-Provided Account Data – What We Process and Why

As part of our recovery mandates, empanelled lenders share borrower and portfolio-related information with REVIK, which may include:

  • Borrower name, contact details, and address
  • Loan account details, outstanding amounts, and DPD status
  • Documentation relevant to the recovery process (e.g., loan agreements, security details)

This data is processed strictly for the purpose of the recovery mandate assigned by the client – and for no other purpose. We do not use this data for marketing, resell it, or share it with anyone outside the scope of the specific engagement.

Our handling of this data is governed by RBI’s Fair Practices Code and the terms of our engagement with each client. Field agents and tele-calling staff who access this data are bound by confidentiality obligations as a condition of their role at REVIK.

5. Data Retention

Website visitor data is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Client-provided account data is retained only for the duration of the active recovery mandate and any period required by our agreement with the client or by applicable law, after which it is securely deleted or returned to the client, as instructed.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data – website visitor data or client-provided account data – to any third party, under any circumstances.

We may share data only in the following limited situations:

  • With the specific lender client to whom the recovery mandate belongs, for account data
  • With trusted service providers (such as hosting or IT infrastructure providers) who are bound by confidentiality obligations and who process data solely on our instructions
  • When required by law, regulation, court order, or a legitimate request from RBI or another regulatory authority
  • With your explicit consent

7. Cookies

Our website uses limited cookies to support basic functionality and to understand website traffic patterns. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some website features but will not prevent you from browsing or contacting us.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure, including restricted access controls, confidentiality obligations for staff and field agents, and secure data storage practices.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, and applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal and contractual obligations
